About
Tim is a mediacomposer with a classical background as well as a percussionist and conductor based in The Netherlands. Recently he created the original score for “Broertje is Verdwaald”. This documentary premiered on Dutch TV in February 2024 on NPO2.
Tim also was assistant composer for Matthijs Kieboom in the first season of “The Art Dispute” and was selected for a workshop series with game composer Joris de Man in Fall 2022.
Currently, Tim is studying for a Master of Fine Arts in Professional Media & Games Composition degree at Chichester University in England. This allows him to combine his knowledge as a professional percussionist and conductor with advanced technology.
Tim’s music is strongly influenced by his master’s degree in music with distinction in percussion at Zuyd University in Maastricht and his large experience as an orchestral musician. He composes in various styles from large symphonic scores, to electronic soundtracks to sensitive, intimate piano music.
