About
As a composer, I bring stories to life through music that deeply enriches the emotional core and atmosphere of each project. With a background as a professional percussionist and orchestra conductor, I have sharp musical insight and a diverse set of creative tools that give each production a unique and authentic character.
I am also involved in developing innovative sample libraries and creating custom samples, allowing me to deliver a distinctive sound that adds depth to storytelling. Each project requires a different sonic approach, and I adapt my creative process to meet the specific emotional landscape of each story.
Recently, I composed the original score for the documentary Broertje is Verdwaald, which premiered on MAX NPO2 earlier this year. I also work with René Merkelbach’s Audiocult team on the multi-immersive film La Leyenda del Titanic, which premiered in Madrid, as well as projects for De Efteling theme park in The Netherlands. Currently, I am working on my first album for a production music company in London.
In addition to my composing work, I contribute to Triumph Audio in Los Angeles, helping to develop new sound releases for sample libraries. I completed a Master of Fine Arts in Professional Media & Games Composition at Chichester University in England and previously assisted composer Matthijs Kieboom on the first season of The Art Dispute.
